BROAD RIPPLE, Ind. (WISH) — The Broad Ripple Farmers Market is mourning the lack of a longtime vendor and worker of Tulip Tree Creamery, Katy Williams. She handed away Monday.
A number of distributors are donating a portion of their proceeds from gross sales Saturday to a fundraiser supporting the Williams household. Distributors donating embody Tallow, Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood, Native Bread, Soupremacy and 317 Canine.
Williams had been aside of the market since 2008. She has been a useful resource, advisor and good friend to distributors and clients.
She leaves behind her husband and two younger daughters, 9-year-old Wren and 6-year-old Matilda.
A Mates and Household Gathering in Williams’s reminiscence might be Saturday morning from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. at First Mates Church in Indianapolis. On Saturday, March 6 there’s a small household gathering at Christ Lutheran Church in Zionsville from 1:00 p.m. to three:00 p.m.
